  I am writing this review on behalf of my wife who bought a power head at Midvalley earlier in the month. The power head cost a little more than we wanted to spend, but we were fine with that as we like supporting local businesses. After a couple of weeks it became apparent that the power head was junk and our non-central vacuum did a better job on carpets, so my wife returned the power head and hose that we didn't need. During the refund the guy working there repeatedly made her feel bad about returning the unit and kept trying to upsell her to a more expensive power head. This may have been a good option if the service was friendly, but at this point my wife just wanted out. In the end he loaded up the guilt as leverage to convince her to buy another attachment for the built in hose we already had. If a company can't stand by their product they can at least make it up with over the top service. We will not be back at Midvalley as my wife left there feeling like she was not respected as a customer, she was talked down to and manipulated into buying something else. We don't like shopping at big box stores when we don't have to, but in this case, if it is the only other alternative for vacuums that is what my recommendation would be.

  If you want to experience EXCEPTIONAL, "old-school" style customer service, David is THE MAN. He's eager to help with all your vacuuming needs, whether you need a rebuild or something new. He CALLS you and COMMUNICATES, and he tries to save you cash or give you options wherever he can. About every six years or so I get him to clean up/recondition my old Tristar/Compac, she comes back looking and working like new each time. Good fellow, that David. "I'll see you about 2022 for my next tune up..."
